Common signs of anxiety

Anxiety affects various people in various ways. Different people have various ways of dealing with it. The chemicals produced by our bodies as a result of anxiety cause several physical and mental anxiety symptoms. The most common anxiety symptom is intense fear or phobia. Such unfounded fear is often accompanied by heart palpitations, dizziness or nausea, difficulty in breathing, muscle and stomach pains, excessive sweating and even emotional feeling of impending doom. Common anxiety symptoms experienced by children include restlessness, fatigue, trouble with focus and concentration, irritability, muscle tension and even insomnia. These common anxiety symptoms usually last for about an hour or less. At times, such symptoms can possibly recur more than once. If these anxiety symptoms repeat in a frequent and regular manner, the anxiety is already considered a disorder. There are even times that an attack is triggered by another anxiety attack.


Common anxiety attacks are commonly disregarded by a lot of people. Most of the time, they fail to recognize such symptoms as serious indicators of anxiety that if not resolved at an early stage could lead to an unhealthy mind or unhealthy fit. The results may not be immediate, but if not treated, anxiety attacks could truly affect one’s entirety. This is the very reason why it is only important to know these symptoms. Like most common sicknesses, prevention is just the wisest step that entails prompt attention and wide knowledge about its symptoms. Thus, anxiety symptoms should be easily determined to avoid serious predicament.
